(The Dilemma part 3)

5 months later……..

Nothing much had happened. Ahsoka was expelled from the Jedi order, but that didn't bother her much. She was allowed to stay in Anakin and Padme's apartment. Rex visited when he could, but it wasn't often. But when he did, they made ever minute special.

Rex and Ahsoka were sitting on their bed and a little room opposite the lounge. They weren't doing much, just talking and laughing and remembering old times. Rex also commented on Ahsoka's new look. She had ditched her dark red combat gear for a more comfortable cream coloured dress that stretched from the straps on the shoulders to her feet. Ahsoka felt a slight kick. "She's kicking."
"Wait, how do you know it's a girl?" Rex asked.
"I don't know. A gut feeling. That's all."
"You want it to be a girl?" Rex placed a hand on her stomach. And she placed her hand over his. "I wouldn't mind really. But I would prefer it to be a girl." Rex smiled slightly. But she knew what he was feeling, "What's the matter?"
"Nothing, I just can't believe that I'm going to be a father. I don't know if I can do the whole peace thing." She giggled a little, "I'm serious Ahsoka."
"I know, and I think you would make a wonderful father."
"Yeah. I guess you're right. Only if Cut could see me now."
"Who?" Rex sighed and replied, "Ahsoka, do you promise not to tell anyone?"
"Of course. What is it Rex?"
"Well, when we went to hunt down general Grievous, his ship crashed on some distant planet I can't remember the name of. Anyway, that doesn't matter. The point is that I met a deserter. A clone. He had a farm, a wife and two children. He said to me that I wanted what he had. And now I do." Ahsoka smiled, then pulled him closer and kissed him softly. Suddenly, there was a knock on the door and they pulled away from each other. "Come in," Ahsoka said. And to the surprise of both of them, it was master Yoda. "Master Yoda, what are you doing here?"
"Here to warn you, I am. And a gift, I have for you." He pulled out her lightsaber from the side of his light tanned cloak. "My lightsaber, why'd bring me this?"
"For protection, it is."
"Protection from what?" she asked as Yoda handed her her lightsaber.
"Fear for your former master, I do. Great anger, I sense in him. About to happen, something terrible is. Into darkness, he will fall."
"I can assure you master Yoda, that isn't gonna happen. I'll make sure of it." Yoda gave a small sighed, before leaving the room. "What was that all about?" Rex asked.
"I don't know. Do you think he's right about Anakin?"
"I don't know." Suddenly, there was a small beeping noise. "Dam," Rex said, "I've got to go." Ahsoka frowned. "I don't want you to go."
"I know. I want to go, but orders are orders." Ahsoka hugged him tightly. "I wont be gone long. It'll only be a couple of weeks, then, we'll talk about what we're gonna do when the baby comes, ok?"
"Ok. I love you."
"I love you too," Rex kissed her one more time before putting on his helmet and headed towards the door. "One more thing Rex." Rex looked back at her, "Keep an eye on Anakin for me." He nodded and left the room. Ahsoka laid down on the bed and sighed. She was dreaming and hoping for the day when Rex'll leave the army and they can settle down somewhere with their child and have a normal life.

I would love a story about anakins life if he didn't turn to the dark side. I am working on that now, but maybe you could write more about ahsoka. Maybe something about how ahsoka dies with anakin on the front lines. Could you maybe use the theme of Deception?
