No man left behind Part 1

Rex's vision was blurred when he woke up but he could tell that he was moving. Being dragged down a corridor of some kind. He could hear people whining and screaming. Then it dawned on him, he was in some sort of POW camp. The two droids that were dragging him came to a halt at a large door. The huge door hissed as it slid upwards and he was thrown into the darkness. The door slid shut again. Rex could just about see a hatch about 30 feet above him. It was letting a little bit of sunlight through the gaps. He then painfully and slowly crawled over to the wall in front of him, pressed his back up against it and rubbed his eyes. That's when his vision returned and when he realised that his cell was more like a cave. It was rocky, dark, damp and very hot. As he sat there moaning in agony, he heard a load whisper call out to him, "Comrade commissar." He looked up, but he couldn't see who it was. Then he heard it again. "Comrade commissar. Over here." Rex looked to the opposite corner of the cell and saw a scruffy looking man in a dark green military uniform. The man crawled over to him, "Are you alright comrade?" he whispered.
"Just my rib cage."
"Let me have a look." The man was about to move arm from his side when Rex grabbed him by the throat. "Relax, I'm a medic. See," he chocked as he pointed to the white cross armband. After a moment of Rex just staring at him, he let him go. Rex moved his arm so the man could examine his wounds. The man gently tapped his ribs at which point Rex winced in pain. "Does it burn?"
"A little. Mainly hurts, along with my leg." Rex pointed at his right leg. The man stepped over to his right side to examine his leg. He lifted his leg a little. Rex moaned even more. He gently laid it back down and said, "Your legs broken, you'll be out of action for at least 3 weeks. You ribs will be fine, their just plasma damaged." Rex gave a small nod to say that he understood. The man crawled back to his side of the cell. As he sat down Rex asked, "So do you have a name friend?"
"Vasily."
"Rex."
"Pleasure to meet you Rex."
"Likewise. So how did they get you?"
"I was helping evacuate civilians when the seps captured me, along with 2000 innocent people. What about you?"
"It's a long story." Vasily gave a small chuckle.
"Well, we're not exactly going anywhere for a long time, so lets hear it."
"Alright." Rex sighed a little, and then he told his story.

3 weeks earlier

"Go on, tell her," Cody said to him as they walked through the hanger of the resolute.
"I am going to tell her," Rex replied.
"I mean tell her today."
"What? Are you serious?"
"Serious."
"What should I say to her?"
"Well, think fast brother, here she comes." Rex turned his gaze away from Cody to see Ahsoka walking towards them. At first she seemed casual, but when she saw Rex she smiled and said, "Morning commander, Rex."
"Good morning commander how was your night?" Cody asked.
"Just fine, do you mined if I talk to Rex alone."
"Sure commander. Good luck brother," Cody said as he walked away laughing.
"Why is laughing?"
"No reason. So what do you want to talk about?"
"Well first lets go to my room, it much quieter." Ahsoka walked past him towards the exit and he followed behind. All the way through that silent stroll to Ahsoka's quarters Rex couldn't help but look at her. He wanted to look away, but couldn't, he constantly thought to himself, "Stay calm Rex, just stay calm. Don't look like you're some strange pervert." By the time the reached Ahsoka's quarters, Rex felt calm. "After you Rex," she said opening the door. Rex stepped inside and Ahsoka followed, closing the door behind her.
"So, what do you want to talk to me about?"
"Take your helmet off first, I want to talk to your face." Without hesitation, Rex took it off a placed it on her bed. "Good. Now I've heard a lot of rumours about you Rex."
"Uh-Oh," Rex thought. "Have you?"
"Yes," She replied as she slowly stepped towards him. She dragged one of her fingers up and down the left chest plate of his armour and continued, "I've heard that you have feeling for a certain Jedi. And I'm not surprised who the Jedi is." Rex felt even more uncomfortable. He rubbed the back of his neck and replied, "Well, umm…..I ummm."
"Come on Rex, admit it. I've seen the way you look at me and I know now that you're here you don't want to leave. I know you want to place your hands on my back and pull me closer to you."
"Do you feel the same way?"
"If I didn't, we wouldn't be this close." Rex's eyes widened, but then narrowed again as Ahsoka placed her hands on the sides of his neck. Rex put his hands on her back and pulled her up off her feet so their faces were at the same level. "Told you," she whispered before kissing him slowly and passionately. Rex slowly walked over to one of the walls and gently pressed her back up against it. After a few moments, Rex pulled away and placed his forehead against hers and said, "I wish I'd told you sooner."
"When were you gonna tell me?"
"Just after the battle of Felucia. But you disappeared."
"Did you miss me?"
"Of course I did. I was silently in pain when we couldn't find you. I wanted you back so badly, I wanted to tell you how I felt. But when you came back, I couldn't get you alone. And I did, I found it difficult to tell you. I was afraid."
"You. Afraid. Of all people Rex, felt afraid of a little thing like that. You felt afraid of love."
"Until now, yes." Ahsoka felt surprised. She had known Rex for a long time and she had thought that he was fearless, but secretly he feared that. "But it doesn't matter now. Every things ok, cyar'ika."
"Ni kar'tayl gar darasuum." Rex looked puzzled and asked, "When did you learn our laguage?"
"A long time ago, didn't know when could come in handy." Rex closed his eyes and smiled, "I love you too." He kissed her again. Then Rex felt a tear roll down her cheek and on to his. He stopped for a second and asked, "Are you ok?"
"I'm fine, I just feel so happy. I've never felt this way about anyone before."
"Its ok, neither have I." He kissed her on the neck and she moan.

3 hours later….

"Do you know how angry I am at myself?" Ahsoka asked as she gently kiss Rex's bare chest.
"Very. I bet your furious." She giggled, then came back up and kissed him softly. Gently nipping at his bottom lip, before resting her head on his chest. They just layed there silently, listening to each other's heart beats. "You know, Anakin is going to go crazy if he finds out." She said softly.
"He won't. And presides, what's he going to do that'll take you away from me?" Ahsoka looked at him, "Oh Rex, I never knew you could be so romantic." The again kissed passionately. Then the annoying beeping from Ahsoka's commlink broke that beautiful silence. She stopped and asked, "Should I answer it?"
"It'll seem odd if you don't." She sighed before pressing the button and saying, "Ahsoka here."
"Ahsoka, where are you?" her master asked in a concerned voice.
"I'm in my quarters master. I was asleep before you called."
"Well you got about another hour, we'll be arriving on Aargonar soon, so inform Rex and be ready by then."
"Yes master," she replied and then switched off her commlink. She looked at him and asked, "What now?"
"Well, we've got just under an hour, so I was thinking that we cou……." Ahsoka placed two fingers on his lips and said, "No need to finish that sentence, I know what you were gonna say."
"So do you want to?"
"Well, we got little under an hour, so why not," she said with a cheeky smile. She sat up and removed her gloves and arm cuffs. Then slowly, still with a cheeky smile, she took her top off. Rex sat up and rapped his arms around her. He started kissing her nipples, giving them small nibbles and bringing out a moan of pleasure from her. Rex then slowly started to kiss further down her body that made her moan even loader. He then moved back up to look her in the face. Not saying anything, just breathing, taking in each other's scent, they wanted to make that final hour special.
